Project Management

BDS works within the energy industry supporting new construction as well as refurbishment projects at major nuclear, oil, natural gas, and coal-fired power plants. Our Project Management team handles the inbound flow of major components providing material handling and transportation support. We establish the supply chain process from receipt at designated ocean ports through final delivery to the construction site.

To accomplish this, we establish liaison with the appropriate port authority, stevedores, terminal operators and inbound carriers to develop operating procedures and communication channels necessary to manage the material flow process. BDS then maps out the process and sets up the technology required to support inventory control, track & trace, reporting and visibility of materials. We complete preparations by negotiating all required sub-contracts and assigning the on-site BDS staff and management team. We then provide top notch project management to ensure seamless integration between component suppliers and the general contractor through completion of our assignment.
