EDI

BDS systems are set up to receive and transmit most standard data types through EDI. Bennett currently performs EDI transfers with dozens of customers, and is capable of quick EDI setup and implementation for the receipt and transmittal of:

  • Order Tenders (type 204)
  • Order Tracking (type 214)
  • Acknowledgements (type 990)
  • Invoices (type 210)

If your system does not support EDI, our in-house technology team is capable of setting up other types of data transfers to suit your organization’s needs.

System Security

At Bennett, the security of your data is Priority One. Our warehouse management system, RedPrairie On-Demand, is a leading WMS provider to hundreds of companies worldwide. Their secure information sharing functionalities are driven by Internet and supply chain best practices, and all integration points with our internal systems are handled through secure data transfer protocols (FTPS and HTTPS). Once your data is within our internal systems, it is fully secured on servers with no external access and backed up nightly to prevent data loss.

System Reliability

BDS has recently obtained the RedPrairie On-Demand WMS for warehouse and inventory management. This cloud-based system allows us to provide our customers with real time inventory visibility and collaboration anywhere, anytime, from any Internet-enabled computer. It also allows us to provide our customers 24/7 accessibility to their inventory with 99.997% uptime.
